Mr Kieran Kinsella, CEO

Kieran was appointed to the position of CEO of the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority in June 2012. Kieran will play a central role in the transformation and renewal of the metropolitan area with projects from Elizabeth Quay, Perth City Link and Riverside, to the continued redevelopment of Midland, Armadale and Subiaco. Kieran comes to the role after serving as CEO of the Midland Redevelopment Authority from May 2000 to December 2011, where he led the revitalisation of Midland as a strategic regional centre.

Prior to this, Kieran held the role of Project Director at the WA Tourism Commission where he oversaw the delivery of major projects on the North West Cape. Other recent senior management positions included serving a secondment to the Commonwealth Government as the Western Divisional Manger for the Indigenous Land Corporation and a six year term as the inaugural Director of the Gascoyne Development Commission.

Over the last 25 years he has gained extensive senior management experience in both the Federal and State Government public services in a wide range of disciplines including urban renewal, statutory planning, economic and community development, strategic and regional planning, regional development and employment and training.
