Places and Attractions

Elizabeth Quay will be an exciting destination that offers a range of activities to attract people of all ages, at all times of the year. The Master Plan depicts the major design elements and highlights how the new public spaces such as Station Park and the island will connect inside the development, with the adjacent city attractions and back to the CBD.

There will be 1.5 hectares of promenade space linking a series of public parks and spaces around the new inlet to the island - a more relaxed space with views back to the city.  All of the promenade and public domain will remain free and people friendly and will be complemented by new shops, restaurants and entertainment opportunities.

It is expected that some four million people will visit the precinct annually including workers, residents and tourists - Western Australians, or those from interstate or overseas. Major events can be accommodated for up to 15,000 to 20,000 people in the combined public areas.
