The Honourable John Day MLA Minister for Planning joined with Frasers Property to officially launch ‘Qll’, the next stage of Frasers’ ‘Queens Riverside’ development, at a stylish celebration last night.
One hundred and fifty guests joined Frasers Property Australia CEO Guy Pahor at Frasers Suites Perth to officially launch the second residential tower within the mixed-use Queens Riverside precinct, located between the Swan River and Queens Gardens at the riverside edge of the CBD.
QII consists of 107 one, two and three bedroom apartments, designed by Bruce Robinson Architects from an innovative masterplan by Jones Coulter Young. QII opens onto the beautiful piazza at the heart of Queens Riverside, and enjoys views to Queens Park and the WACA.
Mr Pahor said he was pleased to be able to release the next stage of Queens Riverside and to do so within the glamorous setting of Fraser Suites Perth – Queens Riverside’s own gold standard hotel.
“Queens Riverside has been received very well indeed, which is testament to its appealing architecture, intelligent community planning and superb location at the riverside edge of the CBD.
“QIII, the first residential tower to be released, is now 90% sold and under construction, which prompted us to bring forward the release of QII.
“I’m delighted to announce that, following an off-market preview, we have already sold 48 of the apartments in QII,” added Mr Pahor.
Planning Minister John Day said the 40-hectare Riverside project would transform the eastern gateway to Perth’s CBD and create a cosmopolitan waterfront community and attractive tourism destination.
“Riverside is well underway and once complete, will attract $2billion in private sector investment and bring some 7,000 new residents and 6,000 workers to the area,” Mr Day said.
“The Queens Riverside will make a strong contribution to the revitalisation of the eastern gateway and is a valuable part of the Riverside project.”
Queens Riverside is unique in providing an intelligently designed ‘urban quarter’ in which luxurious homes, a five star hotel and a planned ‘Eat Street’ dining precinct share a central piazza. Residents also share a private pool terrace and gymnasium, and can order room service from Fraser Suites Perth.
Exclusive Selling Agent, Wayne Briggs said, “We have seen a great deal of interest already for QlI. It’s interesting that many of our buyers are owner occupiers who are looking for that ‘city living’ experience, with luxurious extras.”
“In short, Queens Riverside adds up to more than the sum of its parts and offers a distinct point of difference for discerning buyers seeking enduring value.
“I’m delighted to say that several buyers have purchased second apartments within the precinct as they see real investment potential at Queens Riverside,” added Mr Briggs.
Nestled between Queens Gardens and the Swan River, within the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority’s ‘Riverside’ redevelopment zone, Queens Riverside is a masterplanned mixed-use precinct set for strong growth, with demand for inner city accommodation increasing sharply.
With close proximity to Trinity College, the soon to be redeveloped WACA, and Gloucester Park, these stylish apartments offer city living at its best in an exciting, evolving part of Perth. Prices range from $420,000 to $1.21 million and offer the potential for solid capital growth as Perth continues to prosper.
The Queens Riverside display apartment is open seven days a week from 12pm to 3pm and is located at 69 Adelaide Terrace (corner Plain St), East Perth. For sales enquiries please call 1800 QUEENS (1800 783 367) or visit the Queens Riverside website.
