The Australian Surf Lifesaving Championships have returned to Scarborough Beach for seven action-packed days of competition.

Starting on Monday 31 March and continuing until Sunday 6 April, The Aussies is the largest event of its kind in the world.

Around 5,000 surf lifesavers representing 311 surf clubs will compete across two kilometres of beach in a total of 382 events.

The Aussies are expected to attract more than 80,000 people to Scarborough, providing a significant boost to the local economy.

Whether you’re competing, supporting or spectating, there will be plenty of action on and off the beach throughout the week. You can also catch all the action on the Nine Network, which will be broadcasting the championships to millions of people across the country, providing valuable exposure for Western Australia's stunning coastline.

The Australian Surf Life Saving Championships are proudly supported by the State Government through Tourism WA.
