Elizabeth Quay post construction water quality testing

  • Elizabeth Quay

Regular post construction water testing was undertaken to monitor water quality conditions within the Elizabeth Quay inlet, with testing occurring monthly since construction was completed in late 2015.

This testing regime was part of the post-construction management requirements, in accordance with the approved Estuary Waterways Management Plan, and an agreed approach between the MRA, Department of Parks and Wildlife (DPaW) and the Department of Health (DoH).

Monitoring was undertaken at eight sampling locations from December 2015 to November 2016. Results have shown no significant variation from the Swan River locations to those from within the Elizabeth Quay inlet and Mounts Bay Main Drain.

All results were issued to the Department of Health and Department of Park and Wildlife and were within expected ranges. The Elizabeth Quay post construction water quality testing results are available to view.
