Main Roads WA has completed work on the Lloyd Street underpass, which will significantly improve traffic flow and safety along Lloyd Street in Midland.
The $80million project involved building an underpass under the railway to replace the existing level crossing.
In addition to improving connectivity, this project was also driven by development of the new St John of God Midland Public Hospital. It also complements the redevelopment and expansion of the Midland town centre, being led by the MRA.
Funding was provided by the State Government, the City of Swan and the Federal Government.
