The Public Transport Authority has undertaken the $209 million second stage of the Perth City Link project, building a new underground bus station.
The bus project was the final transport component of the Perth City Link project and officially opened to the public on 13 July 2016.
The scope of work included:
- Demolition of Platform 11, creating an above-ground space for Yagan Square.
- Construction of two temporary bus stations to maintain bus services during construction
- Construction of a new underground, dynamic stand bus station.
- Demolition and removal of the temporary bus stations.
