O Day sees a new day
3 February 2011
O Day has been rescheduled for Sunday 20 February - it's a chance for the community to experience the transformed cultural heart of Perth and visit the new State Theatre Centre.
The Perth Cultural Centre will be alive with colour, entertainment and activity when it celebrates ‘O’ Day – a chance to experience the transformed cultural heart of Perth and visit the State Theatre Centre.
Visitors will be treated to a day of entertainment and family fun including roving street performers, free children's rides, live music, and gourmet food, gelato and other treats – in amongst the new walkways, urban orchard and activated areas of the Cultural Centre.
For those in need of a little retail therapy, Made on the Left, will be retailing wares from more than 30 of Perth’s up-and-coming designers.
The doors of the new State Theatre Complex will be open – giving you a chance to walk around the new $91 million state-of-the-art theatre complex.
The Perth Cultural Centre is an EPRA project.
