Law Access Walk for Justice

  • Elizabeth Quay

Walk the CBD foreshore on National Pro Bono Day to celebrate the vital pro bono work of the Profession and to raise funds for the new Law Access Pro Bono Referral Service.

The walk from the Bell Tower to Point Fraser and back will be followed by a free South Indian breakfast at Analakshmi Restaurant. Registrations are essential.

The walk will be held on National Pro Bono Day.

Law Access triages applications for pro bono legal assistance by conducting a means and merit assessment and matches meritorious applicants with pro bono lawyers.

The new Law Access Pro Bono Referral Service is staffed by part time staff, secondee lawyers and law student volunteers. Demand for the service continues to grow and Law Access needs your help in order to assist more disadvantaged Western Australians.
