Mental Health Week is a national event, held to coincide with World Mental Health Day (10 October).

In Western Australia it runs from 8-15 October 2016, and will be an opportunity to promote awareness about mental health and wellbeing, and equip people with the right information.

There will be a range of fun and free activities to get you to Act-Belong-Commit for a mentally healthy mind.

Participants will be encouraged to challenge themselves and their family, including hula hooping, yoga, netball, volleyball and giant knitting.

There will also be stalls and access to mental health resources and more information at the Act-Belong-Commit marquee.

See the Mental Health Week website for more information.
