Black Swan Prize for Portraiture Community Program

  • Perth Cultural Centre

ARTrinsic Inc is hosting a vibrant community engagement program, including an outdoor exhibition of youth and community portraiture works as part of the Black Swan Prize for Portraiture.

Workshops by previous Black Swan Prize for Portraiture finalists and winners are available for beginners to advanced practitioners. Try your hand at drawing with charcoal, learn the underlying fundamentals of painting in oils, or simply watch a live portrait demonstration.

An interesting and informative series of interactive talks and seminars will also be available for artists of all levels of experience.

Take part, have fun and be the first to try this new program.

The Black Swan Portraiture Prize is presented in partnership with the Art Gallery of Western Australia (AGWA) as part of AGWA’s Portraiture Month and will be open to the public from 8th October-31st October. An outdoor printed exhibition of artworks by Australia's young artists, adolescents at the Princess Margaret Hospital and members of the local community who have taken part in portraiture workshops throughout the year will be on display in the Perth Cultural Centre from 18-31 October 2016.
