See Perth’s premier entertainment precinct injected with added life and colour as James St and nearby roads are closed for extended al fresco dining, dancers, singers, musicians and remarkable feats of performance.

World renowned spectacle-makers Strange Fruit will lead the program of street entertainment, including some of WA’s best roving performers. Family entertainment on stage at Northbridge Piazza and Perth Cultural Centre will begin with a free kids’ movie, ahead of live entertainment including Bizircus, roller disco and beatboxing workshops, and the making of an illuminated community mural. From 9pm, some favourite Perth bands will ramp up the party, including Bang Bang Betty & the H-Bombs, Some Like it Yacht, Grace Barbe, and Randa & the Soul Kingdom. Stick around to see MCs Magnus Danger Magnus and Brendan Hanson lead a spectacular midnight countdown.
