Definitions - When used on this page:

  • BPOINT means an online payment system provided by the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CommBank). Payments made via BPOINT are secured by CommBank..
  • ‘MRA’s website’ means www.mra.wa.gov.au;
  • ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ mean the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority (MRA), including any other legal entity or business name representing the MRA as stated on your invoice; and
  • ‘you’ and ‘your’ mean the legal entity or person using this site and, if different, the customer on the invoice being processed through BPOINT via the MRA’s website.

This document sets out the terms and conditions governing your use of BPOINT for the purpose of paying invoices issued to you by the MRA, via the MRA’s website.

 

Your Agreement to Terms and Conditions of Use

Your use and/or accessing of BPOINT via the MRA’s website, constitutes your agreement to the terms and conditions contained in this document.

By using BPOINT via the MRA’s website, you also agree to comply with any terms and conditions imposed by your bank or financial institution and BPOINT, and to pay the amounts and associated fees in relation to any transactions that you authorise via BPOINT on the MRA’s website.

 

No Representation

Whilst we will use our reasonable endeavours to facilitate your access to BPOINT on the MRA’s website, BPOINT is supplied by CommBank and we therefore cannot, and do not, make any representation or guarantee that your use of or access to BPOINT will be uninterrupted or error free.

 

No Liability

We will not be liable to you or a third party for any loss or damage suffered as a result of your use of or access to BPOINT, or any interruption to your access to and use of BPOINT, via the MRA’s website. Such loss or damage includes but is not limited to, that arising from malicious malware, viruses, or problems with telecommunication services, your internet service provider, your hardware or software.

 

Payment References, Errors and Information

While BPOINT may provide you with a payment reference number acknowledging your payment, your financial institution may still decline the transaction. The provision of a payment reference number does not mean that your payment liability to the MRA has been satisfied.  If a payment is declined, you will need to contact your financial institution.

You are responsible for correctly entering all requested payment information in BPOINT when paying our bill. Where you believe a payment error has occurred, please contact our Finance team on finance@mra.wa.gov.au

 

Refund Policy

Subject to your rights under Australian consumer laws applicable in Western Australia, any application fees that you pay to us via BPOINT are strictly non-refundable.  In the event that we reject or withdraw your application, we will not refund or credit your application fee.

If a refund is required, then we will process return funds to you in the same means as the purchase was made (e.g. credit card refund for a credit card purchase). 

 

Data

We do not hold or store any of your payment data or personal data. 

 

Other

At any time without further notice, we reserve the right to amend, or discontinue the application of, the terms and conditions contained in this document or any feature of BPOINT as it is used on the MRA’s website, including but not limited to content, software and hardware required for you to access and use BPOINT via the MRA’s website.

The terms and conditions contained in this document constitute the entire agreement between you and us relating to your use of BPOINT via the MRA’s website, and supersede all prior representations, agreements, statements and understandings, whether verbal or in writing.

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Western Australia.
