This September School Holidays, renowned local artist Melski McVee is bringing her unique talents to Elizabeth Quay with a 60m long mural to be painted along the hoarding. Melski’s work is often centered around Western Australian flora and fauna and this mural will be no different, featuring a range of local plants and animals depicted in her own contemporary style.

However this isn’t just a static piece of art; Melski will do the initial template but it will be Perth locals who will provide the colour. Set across 4 sessions, people of all ages will be invited to come down to the Quay and fill in the mural using a classic ‘paint-by-numbers’ method to bring her artwork to life. Anyone is welcome to come and join the fun, though young children will be required to have adult supervision.

This event is supported by MRA.
