The Ukulele Cruise Workshops are currently BOOKED OUT, why not explore one of the other fun and free activities below. 

Embark on a ferry voyage with a musical twist! Join AWESOME Arts and learn to play ukulele on a special Cruise Workshop, setting sail from Barrack Street Jetty. Children will take part on a fun and unique workshop on a ferry cruise across the Swan River and work with a professional artist to learn some fundamental skills to learn to play ukulele. Spaces are strictly limited, so book now to avoid disappointment. Ages 5 - 16. A free cruise proudly supported by Transperth.

River cruise duration: 35 – 40 mins Capacity per session: 25 kids (plus adult supervisors)

Incredible Zoo Stories

Do you love a good story? Perth’s zaniest zookeepers want to share some wild and wonderful zoo stories with you. Bring the kids and join us at Barrack Street Jetty for some amazing animal tales. A free event supported by Perth Zoo and Captain Cook Cruises.

Junior Vet Hospital

Do you love animals? Come and learn how to keep animals safe and healthy in this fun, role play activity. Dress up in scrubs, examine the animal patients and help our Zoo Vets provide the right treatment. A free event supported by Perth Zoo.

WA Wishes

Everyone is invited to make an origami boat and make a wish for your community or for someone special. You can take your boat home or display it on the largest WA Wishes public art installation at Barrack Street Jetty. Let’s get wishing and folding. A free event supported by AWESOME Festival.
