NAIDOC Week is held in the first week of July. It is a time to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements and is an opportunity to recognise the contributions that Indigenous Australians make to our country and our society.

Trevor Walley and Dr Simon Forrest will conduct the Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony for the NAIDOC Opening Ceremony held at Elizabeth Quay. With live music, dance, face painting and a petting zoo, there are many activities for the whole family to enjoy.

This event is supported by MRA.
