The NAIDOC Perth Opening Ceremony officially signifies the commencement of celebrations of NAIDOC Week in Perth.

The 2016 event will showcase local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, performers and dancers throughout the day.  

Welcome to Country will be performed by Noongar Elders and Aboriginal dance groups as well as a flag raising ceremony, community stalls, children’s activities, free sausage sizzle, an Elder marquee and performances throughout the day by local bands, singers and DJ.

Continue the NAIDOC week celebrations on Wednesday, 6 July with free family entertainment in the Perth Cultural Centre
