The Perth Triathlon features a swim in the Swan River, a cycle along Mounts Bay Road and a run along the quay and Perth foreshore.

The swim, cycle and run will start and finish from the western promenade with the run leg continuing across the bridge. Over 1,600 participants are expected to take part in the triathlon and spectators are welcome.

The inlet and short stay moorings will be closed to the public between 7am and 10am to ensure swimmer safety.

Transport

Transperth Ferry services will operate from Barrack Street Jetty, and not Elizabeth Quay Jetty, from the first Sunday service until 10am. The ferry will return to normal operations from inside the inlet at 10am.

Some road closures will be in place around the quay including Mounts Bay Road westbound from Point Lewis Rotary to Crawley Avenue. Road closure information is available from the event website.
