The Rowing WA Elizabeth Quay regattas offer an exciting head to head sprint rowing format that sees rowing return to the city.

This exciting opportunity for WA rowers also showcases the sport of rowing to the wider community. With the ability to drop these regattas into other land-based events at the quay, crowds at recent regattas held here have reached up to 10,000 over the course of the event.

If you are unfamiliar with the sport of rowing these regattas have rowers jumping into eight oared boats, just like the ones at the Olympics, and racing over 192m. Just under 1/10th of their usual race distance of 2km. This means that the racing is high intensity with crews going flat out from start to finish.

If you would like to come and watch the racing entry is free and the course can be seen from anywhere on the banks of the quay.

Watch the finish line from directly above on the pedestrian bridge or the exciting racing starts from The Reveley, Gusto Gelato or by Spanda.
