Now in its eighth consecutive year, the Youth Week WA KickstART Festival offers young people aged 12 - 26 an extensive range of free workshops, forums, performances, programs, special events and, new initiatives for 2018. KickstART is driven by young people with big ideas, and will once again roll into the cultural heart of Perth.

The theme for 2018 is Illuminate - Djoondal Djoomba. Illuminate relates to bringing light to young people, and shining brightly and positively on mental health. Djoondal Djoomba was inspired by the 'Carers of Everything' Nyoongar Dreamtime story of country, which is about the star woman and spirits coming from darkness to light.
