The City of Perth - Festival of Christmas finale has bands and entertainment for all ages across two stages in the Northbridge Piazza and the Perth Cultural Centre for one massive free outdoor event.

Get along to the family stage in the Perth Cultural Centre with movies, workshops and live music to keep you entertained till the final clock countdown. 

4:30pm - Movie: Tangled (PG), 96 mins.

6-8pm - Children’s workshop: Sandcastles
The workshop will utilise the existing sand areas and children will create sand sculptures and sand castles under the guidance and supervision of experienced artisans.

7-7:40pm - Children’s stage act: Edward & Edwina
Stories are enjoyed by adults and children alike, but are perfect for 2- 8 years. The ensemble aims to inspire children to sing, play musical instruments and perform themselves in a creative environment.

8-8:40pm - Children’s stage act: The Leaping Lillies
Combining acrobatics, contortion, hula hoops, chair balancing and dance, these beauties from yesteryear grace the stage in this little circus show with an energy and elegance long forgotten.

9-9:50pm - Band: Zydecats
A multi instrumental group with a vast array of genres and styles for all ages, including Cajun, country, blues, swing, soul, rockabilly, New Orleans rhythm and blues, rock n roll and more.

10:10-11pm - Band: Shotdown from Sugartown
Shotdown from Sugartown performs raw rockabilly and honky-tonk blues, and is fronted by internationally recognised blues and rockabilly vocalist Rusty Pinto.

11:20-12:15am - Band – Summer Soul
Irresistible high-energy entertainment experience that has people of all ages up dancing. Performing classics from Motown, R&B and top 40 contemporary hits.

12am - Official midnight countdown

You will also be able to catch Roving entertainment up James Street from 6pm to 9pm including 50s style roller skater Milkshake Girls, swing dancers, seagull, cockatoo and duck street performers and installations, The Hag and Message in a Cocktail Glass. Don't miss the excitement this New Years Eve!
