Taking inspiration from PICA’s Hatched: National Graduate Show 2016 and her own visual art practice, join Australian artist Olga Cironis to make a precious creature that represents “you”.

Get creative and learn techniques such as stitching, tying, weaving and wrapping to up-cycle everyday objects of choice.

Olga is an established contemporary artist who has exhibited internationally. She recently won the $10,000 scholarship prize at the Cottesloe Sculptures by the Sea 2016 for her hair weaving. She is also a community artist and educator.

Suitable for ages 7–12.

The Perth Cultural Centre has it all and a whole lot more. Download the school holiday program for a full list of activities.
