RTRFM’s The View From Here film series continues in 2015 with the release of episode three, which features the honeyed vocals and hypnotic world beats of Mei Saraswati Band.

Filmed at Perth’s Yo Yo Studios, The View From Here’s latest installment captures a rare performance from the nine-piece band, which has only performed live a handful of times to date.
Saraswati’s music is celestial, futuristic, soulful and earthy all at the same time, encompassing RnB influences and layered patterns of melody, awash with cosmic synths.

Filmed, edited and animated by Sam Price; produced by Chris Wheeldon; audio mixed by Adrian Sardi; audio engineering by Malcolm Clark - Yo Yo Studios, Perth.
This project is supported by Department of Culture and the Arts, WA.
