Unveiled in 1979, the tower and flag pole commemorate the 150th anniversary of European settlement in WA and the 75th anniversary of Rotary International. It’s on the WA Register of Historical Places and has become a symbol of Rotary's involvement in the community since 1956.

Der Rufer (The Caller)

Gerhard Marcks is a German artist who was a founding teacher of the famous Bauhaus art and design school. Born in 1889, he died in 1981.
