Devised by Australian artist Paul Carter, 'Passenger' is a text-based artwork distributed across seven pieces.

The words, from welfare worker and anthropologist, Daisy Bates (1863-1951), describe the protest of Noongar woman Balbuk (1840-1907) against colonial occupation.

You’ll find the seven silhouettes that evoke her defiant walks through the city around Yagan Square.
